Change note color

If you are in the note list, click the icon that shows a colored sticker note or select it with the arrow keys and press "Space":

if the note window is being displayed, click the palette icon with your mouse there:

You will see a list that has 4 default colors (red, green, blue and yellow) which are always available, and the last four colors used.

You can either choose one of these colors or select the "Palette..." menu item and pick a color from the palette.
