Restore deleted notes from trash

Get to the list of deleted notes.

Select a note you need to restore.

Press the button in the tool panel

After you do this, the note will appear in a list, where it was located before deletion.

Restore notes from backup copy

If the file containing a list of your notes got damaged or corrupted, you can restore notes from a backup copy. See the Data storage page topic for more instructions of restoring your notes.

Fix note size/position

If, for some reason, information about note size or location got distorted (perhaps it even got moved off screen and is not visible when you try to access it), you can fix it by using menu item "Tools->Fix Notes Position".

The size and location for all notes will be corrected for notes to become visible and fit on the screen.

Registration problems.

I can't enter my registration key.

After you make your order, you will receive an e-mail message with «Registration code for dtNotes» as the Subject line. This email will contain your registration code. Copy it to clipboard, launch dtNotes and select menu item "Help->Registration" Then insert (paste) the key in the registration window and press "OK". You have to reload dtNotes for registration to be activated. After the process of registration is completed, all limitations will be removed and the "About" window will display information about you as the registered user.

I lost my registration key. What should I do?

Send an e-mail to support@dtbits.com with a request to get your registration code again. Important! You have to include Order ID and name of the person the program was registered to. You have to send this e-mail from the e-mail address you used to register the program. If it is no longer active, please send us as much order information as you can, so we can identify you correctly.
